Our son, Josh came into our lives on the second of June 1995. He was our entire world. We and everyone around us watched him grow into a funny lively and loving boy, who (aside from his endless cheek) was ever caring and loyal to all his family and many friends. He was full of energy, always on the go and rarely sitting still.

Josh made a lasting impression on all who met him, he had bags of confidance and would talk to anyone always looking to make new friends wherever he went, then he would play with these new friends all day as if he had known them for years. Like any child he loved to have fun.

He always wanted to help his friends with problems if he could and he always stood up for them. He had a great relationship with Bruce our boxer dog who we hadn't had long and was still only a pup when josh passed. Although Bruce still remembers him and looks for him sometimes, having a reminicent sniff in his room.

Josh was very athletic, he loved to swim and would of done all day if he was left to it. He was also a play area fanatic, we spent many a day sat at the park while Josh played on the swings and slides. He had an endless supply of energy and relished anything active.
Then on July 9 2004 our son was tragically and unexpectantly taken from us. He was found in the morning when he was to be awakened for school. He had passed in the night. The initial autopsy reported nothing and the numerous tests that where to be done afterwards said the same. To this day we have had no answer to our question, why did our son die? Only that it may have been a heart defect likely to be Cardiac Arythmia.

That day the world collapsed. Our lives stopped and the world left us behind. They say that time heals, but how much time? After a year has passed that dreadful day is no further away and the pain does not fade. Our memories of Josh are with us as strong as ever.

We will never forget our son.
